Each thesis is a small monument to an untold amount of time, patience, grace, and care by the author and the many people who helped construct it. As a PhD by Publication candidate, my own journey to develop content and methodological expertise over the past 16 years has been circuitous, involving many amazing people and enriching side adventures along the way. To quote Tolkien: “Not All Who Wander Are Lost.”*
