Fluctuating pressure pain sensitivity, including time to redness; worsens in times of PEM

When I overdo it, how long I can remain in one position (either sitting or lying) drops because the skin becomes sore from the pressure.

An interesting aspect of this is, unlike many symptoms, it’s visible: my skin reddens so an interested scientist or clinician could measure times and notice the fluctuations.

Some from the biopsychosocial school might try to dismiss the symptom/sign as deconditioning but that doesn’t explain the fluctuations.
