For completeness. I have no idea whether there is much of interest here.

Edited to add: It sounds like probably no one else should waste time looking at this.

Abstract

Fatigue is an important health dimension. What are the characteristics
of fatigue? What are the mechanisms? Etiology? What are health effects?
What is the approach towards fatigue? Biblical verses describing fatigue
were studied from a contemporary viewpoint.

I was mildly disappointed that there were no biblical stories about people that possibly had ME.

We have to look to present day Norway to read about miraculous recoveries from ME.

Then there was a lot of commentary about fatigue in various illnesses and it was uninteresting.

I skimmed it and it fell below my low expectations.

Most relatable New Testament passage for me, though am not willing to spend ££:

“She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse.”
Mark 5.26.

Woman who had haemorrhaged for 12 years.

Sadly despite the sympathy inherent in that line, do worry that so many NT stories of ‘healing’ fuel impatience with people not getting better, think is common human attitude.
