    Hi,

one of my symptoms is 24/7, 360° tension, pressure and burning pain in whole arms & from leg ankles till upper stomach & within the head. I also have POTS and it feels like my body's own compression garments.

All this started shortly after a covid vaccine, head first and shortly after followed by the lower legs. Over the years it spread. The progression was always sudden / step wise. After the lower legs the next step was including the upper legs, then a progression till the upper stomach and afterwards the whole arms.

Due to the sudden changes and its effect it was really clear that this symptom is not only "felt" but that it is real in a mechanical sense. For example, I have a huge limitation with using my arms since the sudden worsening, it's like a chronic tendonitis. I get audible cracking and can feel twisting/jumping tendons when it is worse and it gets reliably worse with overdoing of very limited activities like typing. Doing everything in a most ergonomic way helps significantly. It also feels similar to overdoing it with strength training when I was still healthy, just a lot worse.

Has anyone ever heard of a symptom like this? I struggle to find it in literature or with other people.

    Thanks!

Sorry that you are dealing with this. It sounds tough.

I would not know what this would be called.

Have you tried a symptom checker such as symptoma or webmd? Or discuss it with your doctor?

Hope you will find help/ answers that will offer some relief.

    Thank you!

Well, I've kind of given up to find this within a "normal" known disease, my (helpful) neuro also has no idea.

Thanks for the recommendation with the symptom checker.

Just over time it got more and more obvious that it's not only a neuro feeling but really something that has a "mechanical" effect. I still suspect small fiber neuropathy (didn't do biopsy though), but the mechanical part is a bit dubious.
