Does anyone else deal with eye dryness? I'm not even sure if this is something connected with my ME/CFS, but back in 2013-ish my eyes suddenly became quite dry and haven't gone back to their previous level of moisture. I was nearly on the Ristasis (sp) eyedrops. I do wear contacts, but I...

How would you describe your brain fog to others?
For me, it feels like both information overload and my mind being empty at the same time. It sounds weird, because they're two opposites, but that's how it feels to me. Like my mind is both over-full but empty.
I've actually used these in the past - mainly before bed, or when I would need something but don't have the energy to put something small together (as mentioned during a crash period)...where I can rest in bed and drink one or two.
It is difficult when one is single, as one is preparing their...
I never got a flu vaccine before. However, this time I put undecided as apparently 'the vax folks' are looking at doing flu/covid combination - https://www.cnn.com/world/live-news/omicron-variant-coronavirus-news-01-17-22/h_eb90664bc5937c3701705da93dbca507
In this case, as for now, I put...
I've gradually weaned myself off of a number of things with added sugars (like applesauce with added sugar for example). I've noticed that I feel better as a result. I'm fine with regular sugars in food - like fruit sugars in juice, and unsweetened applesauce. In the U.S. there's just way too...
I saw a neuropsych. in 2007 with regards to issues I was having typing. They put me through tests and the result was that I have 'medium range' damage to the part of my brain that deals with fine motor skills. I have done what I could over the years to help my brain (neuroplasticity I guess...
I think I've had this happen, only it's with certain 'common' sounds - like the tune my phone plays when I get a notification. I would wake up from a nap thinking I have a message, only to find there's nothing there. I've generally just dismissed this as well...'weird stuff' happening with me...
Almost always...and it's embarrassing when I'm "involved" in a discussion with someone. It's because I'm standing there all derpy:wtf: trying to do 'word retrieval' and my brain just decided to take the day off.:cautious: So I'm essentially left listening rather than being actively...
I call myself a walking barometer for this reason.:bored: The thing is, the year Superstorm Sandy hit in the U.S., I noticed with peculiarity how I was not affected by the barometric pressure from that, but a small rainstorm pretty much wiped me out...like...?:cautious: So, I haven't been able...
In my case, I've become so exhausted that I would get nauseated and feel like I could vomit. I just feel horrible all over. My body would hurt and I would literally be 'drop dead exhausted' so to speak...like, I would be mentally 'aware' but my body, physically, would be so tired that it would...
I've been in mild/moderate since my 20's so I don't know, if in my case, it is getting older that makes it feel like it may have gotten worse, when it's just being older with the same severity. Also I've had surgeries in '16, '17, and '19, and so I don't know if that added in makes it feel like...
I never had many friends to begin with, one of the benefits of living in a rural area. For me, the one friend who really understood me was one who wound up with CFS via Epstein-Barr (mono.). She was nearly 60 when she passed away in 2012 (I was 32 that year). So that was a major loss because...
