Seronegative autoimmune autonomic neuropathy: a distinct clinical entity, 2017, Vernino et al

I think it sounds like some people on this(and the other)forum.Subacute autonomic failure/seronegative for gAChR antibodies, orthostatic hypotension, gastrointestinal complains, sensory symptoms ,pain...How on earth were they diagnosed? Were there other tests?Maybe someone should look into this and...

    Does anybody know this?

I don't get PEM.When I was diagnosed with CFS in the early 90s it wasn't among the criteria.I don't have any references/comparisons with PEM.I have heard that there are sleep disorders that involve moving muscles at a phase when muscles are supposed to be relaxed(paralysed?)Your issue seems to...

    Does anybody know this?

What if you discussed your symptoms with a sleep expert or even better look for a sleep laboratory?Maybe having extensive testing while asleep could provide clues into your CFS/ME.Maybe having a sleep disorder could be an aggravating factor in your CFS/ME.

Do you get the same effect...

    Amino acids and energy production

If phe is phenylalanine that amino acid too might be a precursor in the synthesis of dopamine.I don't think studies into phenylanine as a precursor were done because the team from MIT which did the studies with tyrosine and the synthesis of dopamine seemed to have a preference for tyrosine...

    Amino acids and energy production

It's been 20 years since I read some stuff on neurotransmitters. From what I remember the proportion of branched chain amino acids to aromatic amino acids might affect the rate at which tryptophan or tyrosine enters the brain. The synthesis of serotonin seems to be proportional to tryptophan...

As a psychologist I see the fantasy of neoliberal values having a devastating effect on mental healt

I often think that I live in a world where (except for a few exceptions)noone cares about anyone else(doctors about patients, politicians about the society they live in,relatives about family members).I hope that we'll find enough exceptions so that one day there will be answers for all of us. I...

ScienMag: Usual antidepressants may not work in patients with chronic illness

It is possible for people to feel like crap,to feel like the world is a very dark place and they can't go on because of interactions of hormones and the brain or some other biochemical or neurochemical reason. A few years ago I realized that I felt like what I described for a few hours every...
