Deep phenotyping of post-infectious myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome, 2024, Walitt et al

NIH is receiving the kind of attention they do not want. It has grown to the point Walitt is distancing himself from the main point of his own study. Maybe the NIH is looking for a fall guy they can throw under the bus. I hope the negative attention continues to grow. NIH had a chance to...

USA: NIH National Institutes of Health news - latest ME/CFS webinar 14 Jan 2025

Silence is often seen as acceptance. I think silence on "Deep phenotyping..." will lead to ME/CFS being assigned to Interoceptive Disorders at NIH. Already we see Functional Disorder being used by Nath to classify ME/CFS. The CDC could change statements on their website tomorrow, ME/CFS could be...

United States Veterans with comorbid chronic fatigue syndrome and chronic pain: do women differ from men?, 2024, Adamowicz

Medicine bullies women. I hope as more women become doctors the bullying will come to an end.

2024: NIH National Institutes of Health - ME/CFS Symposium on Intramural study - 2 May

Did anyone remind the sensitive researchers no house bound or bed bound patients were in the study? I was at the doctors and missed the event.

Severe difficulties with eating in ME/CFS

I know it is addressed to the NHS but it's so good I wish it was international and addressed to the NIH and CDC.

Review Clinical skills development for healthcare practitioners working with patients with ... (PPS) in healthcare settings 2024 Thursby et al

I wonder how much incorrect diagnosis will cost the health system. Save a penny, lose a pound. My own Degenerative Disc Disease is costing more due to late diagnosis. I am physically shorter, the discs have turned from grapes to raisins if I may use a common analogy. The pain in my legs was...

Deep phenotyping of post-infectious myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome, 2024, Walitt et al

Dr. Nath has faulty logic. He also seems to enjoy talking out of both sides of his mouth.

Deep phenotyping of post-infectious myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome, 2024, Walitt et al

My bolding. Translation. “Planning a gaslighting workshop to make others think using psychological terms is not psychological.” It would be less work to correct their flawed paper but that would be admitting to a mistake. They can’t admit to a mistake, at least not publicly.

Deep phenotyping of post-infectious myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome, 2024, Walitt et al

Is effort preference a sly way to describe avoidance behavior? If Nath meant, why doesn’t he edit the study?

The LIFT trial (OMF) - Pyridostigmine (mestinon) and Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN)

I wonder if the results will be based on questionnaires. I hope they use fitness counters or maybe iCPETs.

“Your Blood is Black”: My ME/CFS Experience with HELP Apheresis in Germany

I had blood work this week, it was dark but that's usual for me. My CO2 was 26 millimoles per liter, and my O2 was 98%. I take what the Apheresis group is professing with a grain of salt.

    Covid-19 vaccination experiences

Yes, they suggested one shot for each arm and I'd be done. I refused to get both shots at once. I'm going to wait a few weeks and get my flu shot.

The Observer/Guardian article: Does the microbiome hold the key to chronic fatigue? About patient led 'research' group Remission Biome.

That’s the appeal to authority fallacy. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argument_from_authority The argument is weak, that’s why Dr.T is appealing to Ron Davis. DrT has no evidence, nothing close to passing peer review or qualifying for a large blinded study. Sadly Davis has no evidence of how...
