It sounds like scintillating scotoma, which commonly lasts 15 minutes. I've had it several times, although the last time it lasted one and a half days! I think that time was coronavirus-triggered. I've described scintillating scotoma several times here and on Phoenix Rising. Here is one...

    Nebivolol

I used to take 2.5 mg Nebivolol per day for high blood pressure, but was able to stop after the extraction of a rotten tooth normalised my blood pressure. I'm not sure what you mean by taking it in the container. I'm only moderately affected. I think it would help to know what you are taking...

Periodontal bacterial load associated with disease severity in multiple sclerosis

Last year I had some teeth removed, one of which was infected. Soon afterwards, my blood pressure, which had been elevated for 20 years, normalised, and my polyuria, which I had had for a long time too, and for which I needed desmopressin to leave the house, also disappeared. I didn't have...

    Whitney Dafoe Updates

I don't like sugar, or rather the effects of sugar (racing pulse), and I have Plamil sugar-free chocolate. It's delicious, although I wouldn't eat a lot because it contains xylitol instead of sugar, and that is laxative in large amounts.

The feeling of being "poisoned" - what do we know about it?

Coincidentally (?) I have a fairly-persistent, but mild, pain down my left arm which I first noticed a month or two ago, and thought might have been due to some strenuous gardening involving lifting heavy rocks, but it's still there. I was fearing that it might be cancer related to a mole on my...

The feeling of being "poisoned" - what do we know about it?

In the early days of my ME (1995-6) I suffered terrible nausea and vomiting, but then I was drinking a lot (alcohol) and also eating (when I could eat) probably ME-inappropriate foods, including gluten, which I later realised I couldn't tolerate. I was also trying various prescribed drugs, some...

Well, I've used it for over 50 years and haven't had anything like that. I've not heard of anyone else who has either. Maybe it's due to impurities in the solid form? (I rarely smoke it, but have it in food or just eat it directly.)
