Diane O'Leary, philosopher, media articles and interviews

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: if only! That just makes me laugh. If anyone can show me where anything has actually changed in terms of treatment of patients, rather than lip service language change, i'll be thrilled to hear it, but the notion that everything has changed is laughable iyam

Tiredness, fatigue and exhaustion: all the same or manifestations of a continuum?—Food for thought, 2022, Matti et al

The trouble is that general populous now use the word 'fatigue' when they want a slightly more serious/impressive/medical sounding word than tired or 'knackered'. In the same way people say 'i have a migraine', when they dont know what a migraine is & think its just a bad headache. Ditto...

Effect on bone anabolic markers of daily cheese intake with and without vitamin K2: a randomised clinical trial, 2022, Helge Einar Lundberg

i was just picking cheddar as a random, common, general cheese, not as a specific comparator. My question was more about whether i had interpreted correctly that this was an issue related to helpfulness for bone density issues - which i have - ie jarlsberg/high K2 cheeses are better for that...

Effect on bone anabolic markers of daily cheese intake with and without vitamin K2: a randomised clinical trial, 2022, Helge Einar Lundberg

So if one is at risk from osteoporosis, Jarlsberg is likely to be more useful to you than cheddar in terms of calcium uptake/usefulness to bone density?

    Co-morbidities - prevalence in people with ME/CFS

I dont know about others but i have pain, that i consider to be part of my ME, so i dont know what a 'fibromyalgia component' means really. So when i took the survey i didnt tick that, perhaps i should have done. The MEA make much of ME & fibro being different, so afaic if i dont have an FM dx...

The Chronic Elephant blog by hellytheelephant

you certainly put it so well Helly. Covid-19 vaccination experiences

not mine.... this was my experience for both 2nd dose, flu jab & even worse for booster.
