Do all ME / CFS sufferers have low stamina?

Not sure why I wrote 'over a decade' - it was 30 years before getting ME! BTW I could do other activities quite well - it was just the swimming where I couldn't. Until I took up driving - I found that exhausting too!

Anyone else in the U.K. had a letter about a covid testing study?

I've had my first blood test today when I was actually able to get enough blood! There may have been cat hairs in it though - that's the problem with testing at home... It took ages to get enough from my finger, and I think that as much blood was wasted (wiped away as it got all over my...

Benefits of micronutrient supplementation on nutritional status, energy metabolism, and subjective wellbeing, 2021, Maggini et al

True, but some people can't take in enough food to give them adequate intakes of some nutrients, especially as they get older. That said, I couldn't tolerate Co-Enzyme Q10 when I tried it years ago.

    Covid-19 vaccination experiences

I'm very sorry that you have had such a bad response. If only progress hadn't been halted by the psychs, we might know more about ME and who should be vaccinated and who shouldn't. I hope you continue to improve.

    Covid-19 vaccination experiences

I think that my ME is actually auto-immune. That's why I'm reluctant to have the jab. I described my approach here: https://www.s4me.info/threads/covid-19-vaccination-experiences.19645/page-20#post-356226 in case you didn't see it. I hope you continue to improve.

    Hybrid immunity

I wasn't able to read the document properly, but there seems to be no reference to auto-immunity or adverse effects. Does anyone know if there are? (I searched the page.) I want to know if there are adverse effects in auto-immune people, as many of us are. (I'm fairly sure that I have had...

I don't think I'll have the vaccination until I can successfully take a proper COVID antibody blood test. Being on the testing programme, I was about to try to sample my blood the time before last, when the person visiting me stopped me, saying that she didn't have the proper paperwork...

I know it's very late in the day, but I thought it might be helpful if people said what kind of ME they have, if they know or suspect what kind it is.
