    Easy sources of protein

Or not. They all have too much sugar in. And/or aren't available in UK.

    Easy sources of protein

Sadly these almost all contain nuts. Or are made alongside other products containing nuts, which is risky for me.

Assessing cellular energy dysfunction in CFS/ME using a commercially available laboratory test, 2019, Morten, Newton et al

By the way, I am not a fan or a follower of Dr Myhill (although I do use one product from her shop, which helps me a lot). I am just in the facebook group in order to see what they're saying about things.

    Easy sources of protein

What's a source of protein that I can keep in my room (i.e. doesn't require refrigeration or cooking) for times when I am craving protein but nobody is around to fetch me food from the kitchen? (I am upstairs-bound due to our lack of stairlift.) I am allergic to nuts, so please don't suggest...

Severe ME day: August 8 2019

Yes but cognitively it sounds like she had a huge worsening as a result of the dental work? I am severe. Is dental work usually that dangerous for PWME? Is there anything that can be done to make it safer? I know that some PWME react badly to certain dental anaesthetics so a different one has...

Severe ME day: August 8 2019

@Tom Kindlon this scares me a lot. How can dental work cause such a drastic increase in ME severity? I guess I should just pray I never need dental work?

I know that. Sorry if I caused offence. I was just trying to express my emotions.

UK: Capita seeks to reverse 'reputational damage' after death of (agoraphobia & fibro) claimant (from brain haemorrhage)

To be fair, I don't see how this woman's death from a brain haemorrhage can be Capita's fault.

    Cholesterol

Struggling to understand the science on cholesterol. It seems to be controversial. Both sides seem to be saying that the other side is using flawed research. So. Is there scientific evidence that high LDL increases the risk of heart disease? And is there scientific evidence that high LDL...

Is it helpful for MEPedia and ME advocacy to be broadened to include possible co-morbid conditions?

However carefully you report something, there will always be people who misrepresent what you have said. My point is that Jen isn't to blame for what Ivan Watson wrote about CCI, because that was Ivan's opinion and actually not consistent with what she has been saying anyway.

Is it helpful for MEPedia and ME advocacy to be broadened to include possible co-morbid conditions?

Ivan Watson (the first commenter in that screenshot) has been sharing his personal theories about ME in ME facebook groups since well before this CCI thing came out. Before that, he was telling everyone that ME is caused by candida. And various other things. Jen has always been very clear that...

Symptom frequency & development of a generic functional disorder symptom scale suitable for use in studies of patients w/IBS, FM and CFS, 2019, Hyland

This is a great example of "garbage in, garbage out", as my old statistics teacher would say. They've taken 3 different conditions, and run a factor analysis on reported "symptoms". In my opinion this does not show anything useful. It's just a bit of playing with a statistics program. You...

Symptom frequency & development of a generic functional disorder symptom scale suitable for use in studies of patients w/IBS, FM and CFS, 2019, Hyland

That's a ludicrously poor measure. I'd imagine that waking still tired at least once weekly would be reported by the majority of teenagers, university students, and people working long hours.
