    There have been attempts at trials. LDN has had attempts to get a trial for around 10 years Funding has been the issue . The accepted bps medical narrative has probably worked against trials .

    Is there something different about female pain? There have been a growing number of messages/ news articles about gynaecological / medical procedures being done with no pain relief offered and pain has been excruciating. It just doesn't seem to be a consideration.

    FFS. How did chronic pain become so misunderstood. ( Slight sarcasm - my partner has recent experience of pain clinics where the bps model is firmly entrenched ) Disappointingly the authors are mostly female . I doubt any of them has endometriosis.

Power asymmetry will factor into this type of consultation, and how that plays out is very individual. .it would have been useful to have provided evidence / info as to why this is so crap and what could be offered...
