I can hardly wait... Given our detalied critique of the first version, if whatever version they analysed was as badly designed, I'm afraid it will be garbage-in-garbage-out. Not the fault of the efforts of all the pwME who used their precious energy to try to decipher the questions and did...

On the topic of using the word 'avoid' Sarah Tyson as I said in a reply to another post, this has nothing to do with the DWP or benefits system. Period. The results of the MEAQ would not appear in anyone's records unless the individual chose to share it. Trish Davis Sarah Tyson any...

Trish Davis Perhaps it will help you understand where I'm coming from with PEM if you read the S4ME fact sheet on PEM. https://www.s4me.info/threads/science-for-me-fact-sheets.43310/post-606969 Trish Davis https://www.s4me.info/docs/PEM_Factsheet.pdf Sarah Tyson Trish Davis The results of...

And more, also very revealing of the BACME approach. Note particularly the bit I underlined in Sarah's response and my reply:

Thank you, you are so right. Sarah Tyson's responses are so revealing of what is fundamentally wrong with this whole project. It's a BACME project designed to perpetuate all that is wrong with the therapist led clinics. I think we are stuffed.

This all confirms to me yet again that Sarah Tyson has very little understanding of the reality of ME/CFS for most pwME, and that she is being led by BACME therapists into providing materials that support their therapy approach.

Someone has posted this comment on the FB post. I had been thinking the same thing and forgot to say it, so I'm glad they did. How on earth could Sarah Tyson and her advisors think it in any way appropriate to word the option like this? And they really rub it in by using the same options for...

I agree. The MEA seem very reluctant to admit that none of the so called "specialist support" causes improvement, and much of it is harmful. And that however carefully we manage our lives, many of us deteriorate over the years.

No. Each question has the same set of answers so I didn't copy them every time. You are asked to choose one of these 5 options for each question/activity. Sorry, I should have made that clear when I copied the questions. Not applicable. This activity isn’t relevant to me. Yes, I usually do...

Two reasons it's useless and harmful: 1. The aim is wrong. It's intended to be used in the old style rehab clinics that use 'goal setting' and 'treatment planning', as part of a suite of long questionnaires to enable them to show their rehab works. From the document that comes with the...

I'll wait for others to have a chance to do the survey or read the questions I've copied before I comment. I don't want to influence your decision whether to participate.
