@adambeyoncelowe thank you for replying. There is no need to go into any detail. Simply say M.E in it's severest form can kill as evidenced by the death of Merryn Crofts in August 2017. Her life is a massive loss. It does not matter if we haven't a line of others that went before her. One life...

@chicaguapa 'But only if they let it'?! Gosh that is reminding me of cbt....i am not sick, I am not sick, repeat. There is huge disappointment across many forums with the document. That disappointment has been clearly expressed. M.E in it's severest form can kill, that should be stated in the...

Don't cry @Mithriel . I hope the document will be revised. Alot of patients are clearly unhappy about it. I'm so sorry, hang in there. There is hope, fingers crossed this will get sorted.

I don't think working with AfME has helped either along with the disappointment on the briefing document.

I think revising the briefing is more appropriate.

    The ME Show

@Trish just listened to interview. You sound like an absolute lady, so lovely to hear your voice. My heart goes out to your daughter Hannah (such a beautiful name) I truly hope some treatments will be found that will allow her to experience more of life and the world. She sounds amazing. Her...

@strategist take it easy, all you write is very interesting and well put. Don't wear yourself out. Hopefully, the balance will work in our favour on 21st but I am nervous about it.

Why would we be cautious about mentioning IOM??

Totally agree so can the document be edited??? Can anyone answer that or who can edit it. This is such a great opportunity for us, we need to get it right.

Jen Brea $100,000 crowdfund for 2018 #MEAction activities

I'd say there was a rise in donations after that video was posted showing the letter and petition being sent to Francis Collins, that was powerful and that is what I want to see more of. That makes me donate!! Really looking forward to hearing what next steps are in relation to NIH. A scheduled...

Sasha, you have articulated that so well. I completely agree. I am almost afraid to watch the debate....I fear where it might go.

Action for ME has joined S4ME

My point is that AfME should not be involved in the drafting of the parliamentary briefing document at all.

Action for ME has joined S4ME

And yet they are involved in the parliamentary briefing document.

Why are M.E deaths not mentioned? I would think that it's crucial to mention those to get across the outrageous situation we are in. Merryn Crofts family would surely support as they want to do all they can for M.E patients. Ian Rudds? The harsh truth needs to be told. Why is it being held back...

I agree we need a united front. We have mountains to move, last thing we or organisations working on our behalf should be doing is tearing strips off one another. As long as each organization has the patient's best interests at heart, we should be able to move along....it's never smooth sailing...

I haven't seen those posts @adambeyoncelowe....I wouldn't like that being said to me either. Invest in ME were worried that a sanitized version of the truth was being discussed by MPs. I listened to the briefing and one of them mentioned patients being bedbound for 2 to 3 years. That didn't sit...
