    thanks @Arnie Pye I've been digging this morning and it dosn't look good - one of the side effects is a tightening of bladder muscles ( i suspect this is why it is used for bladder issues/ stress incontinence) - I can only supose that the GP is a bit confused as the issue is the opposite.
