If they drop it they can no longer, however wrongfully, claim that they are making patients better. Just that they are helping them cope, and you don't need to research that, cause that sort of CBT is already a thing. Also people coping just fine on their own wouldn't need their help offcourse.
Maybe you are right. I saw some more reviews and a lot of people where a lot happier about it then I was. Maybe I was expecting too much based on the radio-interview which was very very good from all involved. Hopefully this Kortschot fella stays on top of things and does more pieces in the future.
The crapness of the CBT-studies wasn't more than a footnote after Bleijenberg and v.d. Meer had a chance to spread their bullshit. I was continuously waiting for them to be hit over the head with the facts, but when it came it was short and blurry. Compared to the radio-interview this was crap...

Can tell you from experience that anaerobic exercise can be as exhausting or even more exhausting than aerobic. I've been to the gym till about 3/4 years, maybe even more after I got sick. But the sense of depletion I felt after finishing a work-out.... I don't recommend it to anyone. Offcourse...
