@Amw66 - I would definitely get your daughter in to see a doctor right away. If you can, I would take her to the ER as it is happening so that they can see for themselves what is wrong. If she needs testing she will get it done a lot faster than going through the family GP.
I had heard that immunocompromised people in Canada would be eligible at some point for a 4th shot, but I haven't heard anything further since then so assumed that it hadn't happened yet. I'm immunocompromised so I'm surprised that I haven't been notified as for the other three shots I got...
I think it might have been someone on this group explained that vaccines for respiratory viruses are not long lasting. I know of several people now who are triple vaxxed but still got covid. A friend of mine, both of her sons who are triple vaxxed are on the second round of having covid. So even...
I think that sometimes doctors just don't want to admit that things like this can happen. Thankfully the adverse reactions to vaccines is being studied now because of the number of people around the world who are reporting them.
Women are being seeing by their doctors and are being told that there is a connection to the vaccine. Just as people who develop neuropathy after having the vaccines are being told by neurologists that there is a connection to the vaccine. One person was told by their neurologist that...
A lot of women are reporting this happening to them after having any one of the vaccines; it isn't just the booster shot that is causing it. Women know their bodies and they know what is normal and what isn't.
Quite a few women are reporting this happening to them after having the covid vaccine. It isn't just the booster shot; it can be the first, second, or third vaccine that causes it to happen.
It's about more than diet and food. Medications (especially antibiotics and antacids) can wipe out some gut bacteria and they don't necessarily repopulate once the medication is stopped. Sometimes a beneficial bacteria can be permanently wiped out and that in turn can cause bad bacteria to take...
Thanks for asking, JemPD. I haven't recovered yet since having the 2nd vaccine in July. I am slightly better in that I can now get out and do yard work for about 10 minutes, but that is about it. I'm still not able to work. The exhaustion, brain fog, and PEM are much worse than I've ever...
I personally would wait to see what new vaccines come out in the near future. I don't see the point of repeatedly being injected with a vaccine that isn't long lasting and obviously isn't working as well as it was hoped.
The problem is that covid patients are the priority and are getting all of the beds at the moment and cancer patients are not getting their life saving surgeries. When people make the choice not to have vaccines, with the exception of people who have valid medical reasons that they can't have...
I finally got brave and had my booster shot this morning. After talking with my doctor we decided that the Pfizer might be better for me as I had adverse-reactions to both Moderna shots. So now the wait begins. I feel fine now, but I'll have to wait and see how the next months goes. Keep your...
For me, resting at the beginning actually started making my ME worse, so after four months my doctor decided that wasn't the best advice that she gave me and advised that I stop resting.
I'm getting my booster next week but this time I'm getting the Pfizer in the hope that I don't have a long-term adverse reaction like I did with the Moderna vaccines. I'm hoping that having had the two Moderna vaccines will make the Pfizer booster more effective.
