As a spectacular example of the quality of journalism on offer, I submit this screenshot taken recently. From your local friendly Russian Hacker ;) ETA: This was in the context of a discussion about MP's knowledge of security, and James wondering why people were getting all excited by MP's...

Fiona Fox (SMC) blog: Research councils: Independence once lost, is hard to recover

It takes some skill to be part of a personality cult, and call yourselves Living Marxism while showing little sign of sentience (or marxism). The same crowd also created a documentary called 'The Great Global Warming Swindle'...

Nov. 28: GivingTuesday: $2 million match from Facebook & Gates Foundation

The software takes a media or social media address and tries to make a fancy box with a preview and things. It's one of those automated programs that tries to make life easier, but sometimes goes wrong. It's not helped by the tracking that sites like facebook try to implement off-site, along...

    Esther Crawley

I noticed that she keeps saying Chronic Fatigue, and thinks that parents of children in deprivation have iPhones on which to chart progress. That and the commitment to sleep deprivation for all patients. It's obvious that she thinks that me/cfs is on a spectrum which goes Fatigue>Chronic...

I would add that there would be a problem with extrapolating social data from the US and applying it to different cultures.
