    The only "gains" I can think of are that I'm extremely unlikely to be involved in a road accident (given that I'm rarely able to leave the house), much less likely to be a victim of violent crime (for the same reason), and I am never at risk of getting sunburnt. Wahoo. Yay.

    Erm. No. I have never heard a single person with ME/CFS say that it enabled them to spend more time with their family. If you're sick enough to be unable to work, then you're generally also sick enough to be limited in how much time you can spend with your family.

    This leaflet says that GET is "not appropriate" and not helpful, but it doesn't say that it's dangerous. It doesn't say either that their CBT is inappropriate and dangerous.
