I must say I do find it 'worrying' that the people on the TV who are 'in charge' keep going on about not having a second wave when the experts all seem to be saying that there will be somewhere between 3 and 10 waves and that this is just how these things behave.
Sainsburys have always been variable, unless you have a delivery pass, in which case slots are free for the time period the pass covers (i.e. mid week or everyday).
They will not allow anyone to buy a delivery pass any more, not even existing delivery pass customers.
Last time I checked Tescos...
I have just received an email from ASDA.
I now seem to be on their priority list, I seem to remember I filled in a survey asking how likely I was to recommend ASDA, and generally moaned a bit, both about the fact that they had deleted my account (whilst still using it to send me surveys) and...
Finally, a BPS questionnaire that I don't win a meaningless diagnosis with.
I'm not sure 'exactly' what my score was (memory problem with keeping a running tally, and I'm far to 'lazy' to use a pen and paper for such a pointless task) but I think it was low 30's, definitely not above 40 ;)
It's not just the shortage of slots, it's that even when I do get one what turns up is missing vital items, that would have provided the basis for several meals, and what turns up is the sundries, which are of little use on their own.
Easily fixed if I was able to go out, and had a car, and the...
Possibly time to replace him with an equal weight of live chickens
(buying a dozen eggs isn't panic buying - I typically use 2 eggs a day, when I have them, this is my normal rate of consumption)
Just a heads up for those on a tight budget.
Amazons 'we won't charge you until dispatch' for items that are out of stock isn't working, at least with items that remain out of stock for weeks. They are now putting a pending on orders immediately, and unless cancelled it remains until it...
As far as I know the natural oils in the skin of various things are there as a protective layer.
People probably shouldn't be removing them when shopping arrives, if people are going to wash stuff then it would appear to make more sense to do this immediately before consumption - by which point...
The excuse used is that they don't know who will listen to it, or even if they got the right phone number.
Which is of course total BS - they are quite happy to send letters containing medical info etc. when they don't know who will read them, or even if you've moved.
@Sarah94 It is considerable more complicated than that - sorry.
I'm on ESA, there is a newer benefits system which @lunarainbows is describing above, as mentioned below the main decider as to which people get put on it both geographical and temporal, with some people, in some area's, in some...
I have received a £64.80 refund, or so paypal tells me, so it looks like I have been charged for the kidney beans with no carriage charge.
This is acceptable as I am now only paying for the kidney beans and not a tenner for carriage.
Given that it was only around 10% of the order value, and the carriage charge was more than the goods value, I don't understand why they sent it, at all, without querying it with me.
Hmm...I ordered some corned beef, some chopped tomatoes, and some kidney beans from these people.
They took £72 for them.
I have just had a delivery.
I've been checking at least twice a day on the order status, which still says 'processing' - even after delivery.
I have not received the...
That's all right then.
Procedures and testing are discharging potentially large numbers of people with active covid-19 from hospital and/or isolation and telling them, and everyone else, that they are now immune and it's safe to resume normality.
Such people, after a brush with death, may...
