Article: How to Tell if Sitting in Front of a Computer All Day Is Making You Fatigued

Perfectly sensible stuff, everyone knows that getting so fatigued when in the immediate presence of hungry wolves that you fall asleep, due to a massive increase in adrenaline is perfectly normal. Of course fatigue might have something to do with no longer being allowed to switch off. It's...

    Covid-19 vaccination experiences

I had AZ followed by Pfizer. I am probably still alive. I'm not medically qualified so......I can't say for certain.

United Kingdom: NHS Birmingham and Solihull ME/CFS

Many of these people may be much more productively employed, with much greater benefits to society, and pwME, as dodo hunters.

What differentiates ME/CFS from known primary mitochondrial diseases; could mitochondrial disease cause PEM?

So, throughout most of evolutionary history, this mechanism keeps us alive but slows us up enough so that the wolves get nice fresh meat, instead killing us so the wolves don't have to find and eat rotting meat. I can see what's in it for the wolves. I struggle to see any benefit for an...

    Suddenly feeling very tired

Given the symptoms(s) and that you aren't green, I'd suggest that far too little gamma radiation may be the cause.

    Covid-19 vaccines and vaccinations

I can easily imagine how being 20-24 and vaccinated could lead to an increase in catching covid A significant number of people in that age group think they are invulnerable. Reinforced by being fully vaccinated this could easily lead to behaviour that increases exposure. Given the wide range...

    Covid-19 vaccines and vaccinations

I must admit to being more than a little puzzled in light of recent papers as to how come in the UK 2 shots and a booster can possibly have 75% efficacy against omicron. Especially given they have basically said that without the booster they offer virtually no protection against omicron. In...

    UK NICE 2021 ME/CFS Guideline, published 29th October - post-publication discussion

But I thought it had been decided that 30 years of evidence of an approach not working, of it failing miserably, was considered evidence of such good quality, that anyone could see it should continue. -100% evidence of successful treatment is still evidence, as those 2500 pages attempted to...

Shame in the treatment of patients with psychogenic nonepileptic seizures: The elephant in the room, 2021, Myers et al

Surely shame comes from somewhere, like how the medical establishment treats people with this condition, so logically it could be removed as a factor by simply not treating patients like *&^&*(&*?

    Covid-19 vaccines and vaccinations

I'm not sure I understand; is this, and the others, saying that a covid vaccine followed by a booster, with an efficiency of 90+% will now have one of 2-3% against omicron?

Article: The coming battles over long-haul COVID-19 and long-term disability

Ah, but we have no money to pay lawyers, and they have trillions, and lawyers. David and Golliath is a fable, not reality. In reality the people with money, power, and lawyers, win. This is the way society works. It's the way it's been engineered to work, since there were 2 people and only...

Article: The coming battles over long-haul COVID-19 and long-term disability

Probably fairly easily; their IT sucks. At the beginning of October, I booked for a booster on the 16th of October, as I hadn't heard anything about a booster shot being available at home (and was told that the teams doing covid home shots had been disbanded late May). On the 16th I got the...

Protocol ReCOVer: A RCT testing the efficacy of CBT for preventing chronic post-infectious fatigue among patients diagnosed with COVID-19.

I find such things 'extremely disruptive'. Every erg of 'spare' capacity goes into them, as well as some core capacity (i.e diaries/logs etc. impact my ability to do the basics, by which I don't just mean things like hoovering/cleaning, acquiring food, or even washing (myself), I mean...

    Suddenly feeling very tired

It's fairly normal for me, when I'm experiencing PEM and overdo things a little. I would not however describe it as tired, it's like a switch has been pressed. Based on other replies it seems it's not for others, so maybe one of the other things I have going on is influencing it.

News about Long Covid including its relationship to ME/CFS 2020 to 2021

Given that ME existed as a diagnosis at the time, matching the symptoms, but rather than use it, 'they' decided to invent CFS, which did not match the actual symptoms, it seems unlikely that this was an honest mistake.

News about Long Covid including its relationship to ME/CFS 2020 to 2021

They've chosen to study a fictional illness when presented with a real one. It's a choice, not a mistake or error on 'their' part - a deliberate choice. and it's worse than that, given how they behave when told this, when told the actual symptoms and severity, and that their 'treatment' not...
