I have come across a few people online who were diagnosed with thyroid disease (over active or under active) and psychiatric disorders who were eventually "cured" of their mental health problems by having their thyroid properly treated. Some of the conditions that vanished were bipolar disorder...

There is a treatment available which is not helpful. The same treatment is given over the internet. And the results from the internet version are not inferior to the non-internet version. Well... Err... Yes... That was useful.
I haven't recorded an NHS appointment but I do take my husband with me to appointments. It is astonishing how much more polite doctors and other medical staff are to me when there is a witness, particularly when that witness is male.
