    Muscles query

Just a suggestion, as it was the cause of my muscle problems - is your daughter getting enough salt? PwME often lose a lot of salt in urine, and in my case it was very severe. I make sure to have plenty of sodium now, some in the form of sodium bicarbonate.

    Covid-19 vaccines and vaccinations

I don't think that mine have ever worn masks. Nor to my memory have any other deliverers. The only people to have worn masks (apart from me when I remember!) are the people conducting Covid tests, and even they didn't at first.

Reduced endothelial function in ME/CFS - results from open-label cyclophosphamide intervention study Fluge & Mella 2021

Well, I think that quite a lot of us use saline orally - I do.

Reduced endothelial function in ME/CFS - results from open-label cyclophosphamide intervention study Fluge & Mella 2021

Would this explain the swelling of blood vessels when the hands are lowered in contrast to when they are raised?

What symptoms of ME that you personally experience is (a) not shown on your medical file and/or (b) not in the ME literature.

I think I have had this symptom since at least when I was working in London, when I used to deliberately shock myself with the metal switches that I used to operate the switchboard I worked on. (A masochistic tendency, now gone!) I also received quite nasty shocks from at least one public...

    Covid-19 vaccines and vaccinations

I had a phone call from my GP surgery yesterday offering the COVID vaccine. I said no thanks. Due to hearing difficulty at the time (just clearing up at last, I think) I'm not sure whether she asked whether I was saying no to ANY Covid vaccine, but I said no. Hopefully this won't mean that I...

What symptoms of ME that you personally experience is (a) not shown on your medical file and/or (b) not in the ME literature.

I always carry a small bottle of juice and a bar of sugar-free chocolate when I go out, to prevent excessive thirst, hunger or feeling sick.

What symptoms of ME that you personally experience is (a) not shown on your medical file and/or (b) not in the ME literature.

I can't think of any offhand that are not shown in the literature, but there is almost nothing in my medical records that refers to ME symptoms, or even the fact that I have it, other than, as far as I recall, the letter from Professor Pinching from around the late 90s confirming my diagnosis...

Migraine headaches in Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS): Comparison of two prospective cross-sectional studies, Baraniuk et al, 2011

I think I only started having occasional migraines (maybe 1 to 4 a year) after 15 or 20 years of ME. Usually there is an aura for about 15 to 30 minutes. A relatively-recent one lasted one and a half to 2 days, when I couldn't even write or speak properly, although I could think perfectly...

    LSD

Well, I took LSD about 100 times, and still easily passed IQ tests and got a Grade 1 Masters degree later. I don't think that it stops anything working. Maybe it gets extra things working? That's what it feels like.
