They were sent a few weeks ago, but are about what FHI/NIPH has had to deal with when it comes to "the ME debate", and as I read it presented as a win. That the review is still up has been used to argue that it is not bad (for then it would have been withdrawn  ), I have not seen IAG...
forgot to tag @Caroline Struthers (new post since tag won't work in an edit)
Please share :) The deputy chair has also commented on how Flottorp has been in touch with our institute for alternative health (NAFKAM) and commanded them to pull their warning about Lightning Process so might be a...
It's from an email sent to a member of the new National Ethics Committee before they got the LP study on their table.

I think what Flottorp is referring to are the emails between the old editor at Cochrane where he wanted to withdraw the exercise review and the Norwegian National Institute of Public Health authors. Not the IAG.
One of the comedians have made an official complaint to the press's ethical committee about a journalist from TV2 that wrote about ME without disclosing he had been part of a fundraising for ME research.
Didn't get through the article, but the comedian claims it has nothing to do with ME, but...
My class benefitted from having a professor that has been targeted by BPS proponents to lecture us. Talked about working with patients, and how difficult that was because being on the patient's side when it comes to ME meant one could be attacked as a professional from colleagues. Was very clear...
I wonder what will happen in Norway now, our deputy health minister has said people should consider masking, but just like other places "consider" and "recommend" doesn't cut it.
I wear a mask and have placed an air purifier in my office. It bugs me that I work in a building where two floors...
Professor in psychology at UiO (same university as Wyller for those not familiar).
Translation: "Has a controversial head of research at FHI, who have been very involved in the ME-debate, really tried to influence the independent ethical review of a disputed ME-study of her good colleagues...
Sorry for the double post.
The claim that harm a long time after LP is unlikely, but effect shortly after LP indicate it is curative does not sit well with me when one has to say after the course one is healthy or it doesn't work.
Well obviously a lot of other grievous things, but this one...
"Not read in detail". Siri Forsmo from NEM that defended the study on Dax18 made it sound like she herself hadn't read it and I would be more surprised if she hadn't (as a member of NEM) than Flottorp. They refuse to talk about the issues anyway.
Reply from current deputy chair(wo)man in NEM
Translation:
What is striking is how a researcher in FHI is lobbying a member of NEM directly during the decision process. This should occur through open communication. The characteristics of previous NEM decisions and "ME activism" is tendentious...
It doesn't say. Though I don't see the point in hacking or leaking when it would be available as a request of correspondence on the matter to NEM (if I remember our laws right).
SMS and email correspondence from Signe Flottorp to a member of the ethics committee has been posted on twitter. It seems to be from after the decision in NEM was made. It is after the decision by the regional committee but before the national ethics committee decision which makes more sense...
In my experience I can give the best explanation possible and get told they understand, but time and time again one has to collapse in front of someone for they to actually believe. :banghead:
Not ME but MS, I found the focus on disease mechanism quite nice...
Google translate: International researchers propose a new definition of the disease MS
