Yes i remember that House episode.... I only came to House in season 2 (there was no streaming/catch-up back then). And so it was only later when i was a fan, that i came across the CFS episode. I was gutted & watched no further series in protest. I'm amazed but grateful that Greys hasnt done...

I've shared elsewhere on the forum how anxiety/anger and the resultant significant improvement in all symptoms (assumed to be from adrenaline release) can fool me into thinking i better than i am - and therefore sometimes wrongly believe that the bout of PEM is over leading to further activity...

my bolding yes ... there is a delay of 24-36 hrs before between the over exertion and PEM starting. But day 1 of PEM is never the worst, day 2 is worse, day 3 is hell but it usually reaches its zenith on day 3 for me, then the number of very bad days before recovery begins depends on quality...

So... am i interpretting this correctly.... it's something that is 'promising' but needs to be replicated with bigger numbers before getting excited. And DecodeME should be able to find it if it's there to be found?

So you run mobile apps on a laptop? so the ridiculous problems i have because i dont have a smartphone because of issues with my fingers, & therefore cant het a whole host of 'apps ' that would be useful but they dont make them for windows - eg the NHS app.... i could overcome with a macbook...

@perchance dreamer I think maybe surgeons cut like for control? when you have a small implement, you are not pressing down very hard or as repetitively to cut flesh with a scalpel, as when you are chopping a carrot. I had 2 dodgy moles removed in recent yrs & i watched the surgeon working...

I cant manage any prep at all these days, so its all frozen or supermarket ready prepared done in microwave. But just as an aside, frozen brussels, roasted, coated in a drizzle mix of equal amounts oil, balsamic, honey & a bit salt pepper, are delish :) Also supermarket versions of frozen...

@ladycatlover I also cant wear knickers below the navel/waist because of a surgery scar which is uncomfortable to touch. I wear these M&S ones which are fabulous, BUT i buy 2 sizes too big, i cant stand the elastic digging in - my weight fluctuates a lot so when i in a sz10 trouser i wear these...

I think it still worth getting a few samples if you can though. things look very different depending on the space they viewed in. All tile shops should be prepared to sell one or 2 tiles to view at home

I pretty much housebound too. I ordered them online from a large nationwide chain, they were delivered in 3days. And i bad quite often so i was able to see them in a bad state within a wk, but if you bad less often that would be impossible. what a bummer
