Adolescent’s descriptions of fatigue, fluctuation and payback in CFS/ME: interviews with adolescents and parents, 2018, Crawley et al

Questions: Was this group recruited from the same group that Crawley treats? If so, why would we trust subjective answers from anyone in the group?

Open University - Camelford Case Study

I also forgot to mention the wider context of this situation. If I remember correctly, it was at the time when the water companies were going to be privatised, and there was a suspicion that this accident might have an effect on that.

Open University - Camelford Case Study

I didn't know that anxiety could turn your hair green, but apparently that was the official response. Seven months after the contamination, one victim underwent a bone biopsy which "found a ring of aluminium like the rings you see in trees" that could not have resulted from normal aluminium...

Trust Me, I'm a Scientist - Richard Dawkins

I only have a belief in the social construction of Richard Dawkins, and that makes him really angry.

    Video Recorded PIP Assessments...

I suspect that somebody has picked up a very juicy contract to store all that video, and part of my grounds for suspicion is that video files are so much larger to store than audio, thus creating a higher price per unit of storage and a larger contract. I look forward to the usual competence and...

    New Zealand: Dr Vallings

Fascinating that there are such things as non bold goats! I thought their personalities ran from curious to head butt.

That would maybe help with the drawing, but for the reason that you would have to concentrate on drawing what is actually there, and not what you think is there. (shapes, shades, etc) It would apply to drawing anything.

    Norway: ME Forening (ME Association)

I suppose at least Norway is making an effort to provide employment for their trolls, and incorporate them into wider society. Shame you have the ones that rarely help humans, and not more moomin types.

ME/CFS NICE Guideline - Safety testing of GET in PACE trial

I think that the criteria for a serious adverse event in the trial means that even giving doses of poison would have passed as safe if the dosage was carefully calculated. It would have been possible to kill everyone longer term, while claiming it was safe.

David Tuller: Trial By Error: Some Thoughts About NICE

I'm not trained in military strategy, but I can confidently say that walking slowly towards an enemy while singing 'here we are, come and get us' without any cover and weapons, is not a good military strategy. Is she trained in David's speciality? ;)

Have you seen this paper? https://www.s4me.info/threads/how-citation-distortions-create-unfounded-authority-analysis-of-a-citation-network-2009-s-a-greenberg.6316/ It describes the process and how to discover it.

David Tuller: Trial By Error: An Australian Exchange with Professor Sharpe

You can always analyse the type of social structure they form. One with no institutional conscience or empathy, a profound lack of capacity for admitting when wrong, superficial charm that is backed up with threats (often the threats are private), a layering of different stories depending on...

The Guardian's Science Weekly podcast - 2 November 2018 - What role should the public play in science?

It seems quite clear to me that Michael Sharpe does not care about whether things are true or false, but whether they are persuasive to his current audience.
