Gut bacteria has many more sources than food alone. You take in bacteria through breathing, your skin, and through your mouth. Gardening is a great way to get good bacteria. And then you have antibiotics that are notorious for wiping out good bacteria. In some cases there will be enough left for...
Not necessarily. It's possible that a particular bacteria(s) got completely wiped out or a bad bacteria became over populated that has nothing to do with the food you eat.
I was thinking about this after I voted last night and I wonder, too, how much my aging is a factor in how I feel these days. Menopause for me was definitely life changing so it's hard to say how much of my fatigue today is ME related and how much is just a normal part of aging.

It all depends on the person and how severe their ME is. I don't think that I would have a problem doing it, but it really depends on how physically active you are. For someone pretty much bedridden I would expect them to have a severe reaction to the testing, but for someone like me who can do...
When I was diagnosed with IC, it was after being put under in the OR and have a biopsy done of the inflammation to rule out bladder cancer. Only then was I given the diagnosis of IC. My urologist said that having ME put people at a higher risk of developing IC.

I'm still debating whether or not to try this probiotic. I've spent so much money over the years on products that haven't worked, but this is one of the probiotics that Ken Lassesen of CFS Remission recommends for ME. And it is available for sale here in Canada which is a bonus.
