I would make member only forums for members who are active or actually have ME/CFS or who are not part of agencies that support lies about our condition or try to paint us as militant, vexatious or a population of people who send death threats :emoji_face_palm:
And interestingly closed forums...
Perhaps i have not explained my position properly, i have not said to ban them or anyone else.
Giving access to private information to people who could twist anything they can to use against you is like a fox guarding a hen house.
I am not saying don't be nice to your adversary, i am saying...
It has a robust taste
It is a good source but i don't know if you can eat it often enough to counter prednisone induced bone loss, you may need to supplement
I already live in Canada, though in Ontario :woot:
Not really, flooding depends on precipitation or water flow, if your land is lower elevation then nearby land then the right conditions can cause flooding :(
That said floodplains and areas that have received flooding in the past are riskier...
It would not surprise me either, it only strengthens my arguments
The side that makes smart decisions and knows how to fight for its interests.
Lets not forget smears, lies, doctored data and alternative facts are extremely effective.
If you want to defeat a more powerful adversary you don't...
I did not say don't allow patients to join.
I ask again why have members only forums if we don't care that those who want to harm us can easily gain access to our personal information to use against us while they block us from the reality of their work to harm us?
All we are doing is kidding...
As i have mentioned in other threads we should only allow established members to access members only forums and if new members want to become established they can post and tell us about themselves and become active members. This would not be hard to implement though it would add to some...
What if they joined so they can read member only posts possibly to be used against us at a later date?
Since we are willing to let them do this why do we have member only areas anyways?
I had the same thought, you would think they would figure out in short order that the same person keeps calling and needing services but i suspect this is about using these people as scapegoats to justify public service cuts.
Insurance companies are masters of wearing you down till you quit, or in this case probably trying to steer you away from forcing their hand.
They may send you and if you keep asking for systemic fixes threaten to cut you off after you've had a few appointments to keep you under control
True enough, but its never fun to lose good people. Of course everyone says lets keep in touch (or in this case i'm still working on your behalf) but once he is gone he will have a different mission to fulfill.
I only read your quote @Andy but this strikes me as a fishing expedition.
That said without a proven disease mechanism i suppose its hard to do much better.
