It is genuinely astounding and terrifying that this abuse has continued unabated for at least 3 decades, and shows no sign of stopping in the near future. Something is indeed truly rotten at the heart of governance in the UK.

I really really wish people would stop speculating in the formal literature/advice on the cause/s. Why can't they simply say 'We just don't yet know'?

I struggle to find a good comparison for the cognitive problems. It is like nothing else I have experienced.

They are indulging in morality plays and power games, not science.

I could live with all the other symptoms, if cognition was not affected. They are horrible and limiting, but the cognitive stuff is the most distressing and limiting feature for me.
