Special Report - Online activists are silencing us, scientists say Reuters March 2019

Talking about causality breaking will break causality breaking. But I have already said too much. :eyes: :emoji_upside_down:

Paradox of diagnosis The positive effects and limitations of diagnosis in ME/CFS and fibromyalgia (Nojima, 2019)

Don't you just love the absolute certainty in these kind of declarations. The beatings and whippings will continue until morale improves. :devilish:

A nanoelectronics-blood-based diagnostic biomarker for ME/CFS (2019) Esfandyarpour, Davis et al

Searching for serum antibodies to neuronal proteins in patients with Myalgic Encephalopathy/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (2019) Giannoccaro et al.

I really really wish people would stop speculating in the formal literature/advice on the cause/s. Why can't they simply say 'We just don't yet know'?

ME is not a functional disorder: ME Association 13,000+ petition sent to NICE

I struggle to find a good comparison for the cognitive problems. It is like nothing else I have experienced.

ME is not a functional disorder: ME Association 13,000+ petition sent to NICE

They are indulging in morality plays and power games, not science.

ME is not a functional disorder: ME Association 13,000+ petition sent to NICE

I could live with all the other symptoms, if cognition was not affected. They are horrible and limiting, but the cognitive stuff is the most distressing and limiting feature for me.
