I certainly support robust epidemiology.
And, sure, not all clues lead to solutions. But PEM is a biggie.
Like the DecodeME genetic study, looking carefully into PEM is a win either way. Whether it turns out to be a specific mechanism (or at least a good biomarker) that can be isolated...
Just had 2nd AZ, and holding my Certificate of Vaccination in my hot little hand.

1. Just because feature X is not universal (or not consistently presented) in a putative syndrome doesn't mean it is irrelevant. The problem might lie with the existing definition of the syndrome. PEM might be a critical discriminator between different but superficially similar conditions. Or...

Plus when the CDC said they will not be formulating clinical advice based on the review due to a lack of good evidence, that kind of took the urgency out of it.
I note they are using ME/CFS now, not CFS/ME.
