Sadly, it's not looking like there is much of an effect there. Just possibly, there is an initial elevation of CD25 in a small proportion of people reporting fatigue, but it is gone by 18 months. Perhaps fatigue is just too common a symptom.

FSS is Krupp Fatigue Severity Scale. They asked about side effects, and didn't find any difference between the treatment groups in reported side effects. So, perhaps the blinding was effective.

Paywall Fukuda criteria I can't see if the study was blinded or not. I'm interested to hear more about the study. It suggests that melatonin in this dose and formulation is not helpful for (ME)/CFS.
