    BMJ best practise

I picked up on the same bit Trish. What supports the assumption that functional ability can be improved? The overall impression of the guide is quite good, I think, so I guess this is a hangover from the idea that patients can get better with theraputic support. Maybe also from medicine not...

Useful gadgets that make life easier for MEcfs patients and carers

I'd love one of these. Would make a massive difference I think. The thing that's helped me most are silicone ear plugs. They really do block almost all noise out and I tried foam ones and so on but silicone has been by far the best for me. They means I sleep much better. No more heart racing...

Petition for ME Assoc. to leave CMRC

I do think they should leave but I wouldn't officially petition them to, personally. I'm glad Julia Newton left. It's important to be brave and say no to the bullshit.

As I came down with ME I had a constant sore throats for a couple years, doctors could figure it out. Then I got ME and had it all the time but now it's not sore but still doesn't look healthy. My wife, who I think is coming down with ME has the same constant sore throats thing I had when coming...

Better Science through Better Data 25th October 2017 - Esther Crawley!

Did she give any actual evidence of harassment in her talk? The tribunal certainly didn't see any, they said there was no evidence of any harassment of PACE researchers. Crawley was not a PACE researcher, but despite all these claims I have yet to see any actual proof of these claims.

Dozens of leading professionals just slammed Theresa May’s controversial new mental health ‘guru’

Interesting as I guess to have gone to the effort to sign this these people must have pretty strong reasons to object to SW. Some of these people are potential allies I guess, or allies already though I do not know most of them. I think SW's response is interesting. He says he supports the...

Tuller / Trial By Error: Another Letter to NICE’s Sir Andrew Dillon

Good to know David Tuller has remained focused on NICE, and isn't letting off just because they said they're going to review the CFS/ME guidelines. It's essential that the community maintains pressure on NICE to keep them honest and ensure the best outcome. We can't leave it to the powers that...
