    Physiotherapist for urinary frequency?

@Lidia, as you said 'physiotherapist' and not 'physical therapist' - are you from Germany? Friends of mine found help for their son in Hamburg at a department for pediatric urology. There are so many more things to rule out than just infection!!!

Submission to the Scottish Parliament by Jonathan Edwards

OR, if the scales are tipping in our favour and PACE is retracted, they will beg you to come back... :) I wouldn't take the comments/critiques on editoring personally. And I think that your 'messages/likes received-ratio' is a good indicator that people wouldn't like to see you leave.

    German ME/CFS Association monthly updates

Prof. Scheibenbogen has published a lot and usually her papers are 'free access', which is great. At the Charité, they are sharing their knowledge with GPs, as they from time to time provide seminars. They also educate medical students (the future docs), as ME/CFS is part of the curriculum at...

    German ME/CFS Association monthly updates

The homepage of the DG for ME/CFS provides a flyer about the content of the information for docs. I'll upload it here. The content for docs has to be behind a log in, because they are naming supplements and are providing studies that are protected by licencing regulations (normally behind a...

Effects of a short-term aquatic exercise intervention on symptoms and exercise capacity in individuals with CFS/ME, 2018, Broadbent et al

They all had a 'CFS/ME' diagnosis 'from their medical practioner' as I quoted above, in post #3. Still, as it says on page 4 of the pdf: 'Of the eleven participants, seven also had COPD or respiratory problems, six had diagnosed FMS, four reported recurring neurological symptoms (vertigo...

Effects of a short-term aquatic exercise intervention on symptoms and exercise capacity in individuals with CFS/ME, 2018, Broadbent et al

Sci-hub link here. Didn't read it yet, but this is what it says about recruiting of participants: 'We recruited patients who had a diagnosis of CFS/ME from their medical practitioner, according to the updated International Consensus Criteria (Carruthers et al. 2011) or the 1994 Centres for...

    The ME Show

Dear @Gary Burgess, please take good care of yourself! I am always looking forward to the next episode of the ME Show, but I don't want it to come at the expense of your health! If it were a fortnightly or monthly podcast (or whatever suits you best) - fine by me! If you need a break - go have...

Everybody was telling me there was nothing wrong

So, in fact, you're called 'girls'. :) I also struggle with the word 'complaining'. When I am sick (and that is the only time when I'll go see my doctor), I have to fill her/him in on what is wrong with me. I am expressing my condition. Agreed, it is a negative condition (I feel sick) that I...

    - Joint pain in wrists, fingers, ankles, toes, knees, hips - permanently, worse in the mornings (with joints feeling swollen and stiff) - Muscular & joint pain in neck and shoulders, temporarily. I had arthritic like joint pain from the onset - so my first doctor's visit was to a rheumy. (But...

New German guideline for ME published today

ME/CFS has an esteemed prevalence of 0,1% (like HIV) to 0,42% (more than MS). So it is NOT low incidence for doctors to have patients with this disease. What is low incidence, is that doctors know about the disease, its symptoms and how to diagnose it correctly. It would have been a great...

New German guideline for ME published today

I don't know if they don't care. Maybe they just leave fatigatio silently... Hopefully they will find their ways to other groups. Maybe they are worried, but where to voice it? In the member's forum, where you have to log in with your full name and membership number? It is easy to make it...

New German guideline for ME published today

So edelgard is muzzling members again, as those whose critiques were claimed to be "vereinsschädigend" (damaging to association?) will surely lose their membership now. I'd like to see the actual numbers of members of fatigatio this year. Are they flocking out in droves yet?

New German guideline for ME published today

'massiven Druck durch eine bestimmte Gruppe von Patientenvertretern' ('massive pressure from a specific group of patient representatives') - So, which specific group is she talking about? 'möglichen Deutungen' ('possible interpretations') of ME? Is it a disease or a piece of art? And for the...
