The IDO Metabolic Trap Hypothesis for the Etiology of ME/CFS 2019 Kashi, Davis, Phair.

Has degree been modelled - ie upstream and downstream effects of various levels of inhibition of various cell types susceptible to the "trap"; this is a systems condition - it is how this may affect other processes and mechanisms by degree that is the interesting bit. A Life Hidden - Blog posts by Naomi Whittingham

The prose, as ever, is beautiful. The sense of loss is tangible. The oxymoron of happiness and grief a poignant reminder of how much this illness strips away. I'm so glad you have managed outside, it gives those in gilded bedroom cages hope. Thank you.

    Machine Learning-assisted Research on ME/CFS

Magnesium is the one supplement that is instantly noticeable if we miss it. It is key to so many reactions. Lower core body temperature probably doesn't help either

How can I persuade my dad to get a stairlift?

Sorry to hear this @Sarah94 . We had a close relative who was entirely disbelieving until they watched Unrest. ( it is a good advocacy film for general public) That said they now feel awkward and don't engage much.

Stanford Community Symposium 2018: Phair, Metabolic traps, Tryptophan trap

Systems and maths and knowledge of ME - few and far between . off top of my head - Gordon Broderick who has worked with Klimas and Craig Robertson who works with Myhill ( his premise on mathematical catastrophe theory as applied to ME is kind of like a bistability switch)

Yes. When energy is low your body adapts to try and enable you to continue functioning. My daughter's s posture and gait changes when exhausted or in PEM.
