Lightning Process study in Norway - Given Ethics Approval February 2022

In a third thought; instead of Dagbladet, that maybe @Jonathan Edwards could adress the problems with a study like this to the Ph.D counselor at NTNU, Kennair. And if possible, short story of the problems with the SMILE study as well.

I have no confidence that Dagbladet is going to be anywhere near fair in this matter. But publishing the letter here is a very good idea. Maybe it can become useful later or in another setting

Not sure I agree, having experienced debate in another journal/newspaper that gives gives a certain professor free speech no matter what he says, I think the campaign started by Victor backfired (I suspected that) and that this would too, just like the debate in Morgenbladet some years ago.

This aspect have had an interesting development. Now LP proponents argue that there’s no secrecy, the method has been published in books and articles. Recently in a conversation on Twitter with the most famous LP proponent in Norway, I put a screen dump from a course describing the process...

I guess one can say it is about over-medicalisation of psychotherapy, from what I read. And that’s very good for us, we don’t need psychotherapy to cure us. Better do nothing. And that’s what the book is about, I believe. Contexts and others things that makes psychotherapy counterproductive.

Intravenous Cyclophosphamide in Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. An Open-Label Phase II Study - 2020 - Rekeland, Mella, Fluge et al

There are some of you that points out that cyclo should not be allowed by experimental doctors until a phase 3 study is performed with positive results, and the researches do too. I understand the possible risks. Yet I disagree. I tried rituximab by the experimental doctor in Sandnes, and was...

    Ketogenic diet

Bah. I have no idea why I am back to where I was before the diet changes. I am pleased if I am able one day to go out with the garbage now. I thought it was an infection, but that should be ok by now.

I may want to take on just a minor point from the radio-programme, just need to confirm that over 30% of the participants in the GET arm of PACE did indeed not do the walking test after a year. That is right, isnt it? It can be documented, if asked? EDIT, I found it.

There was a program on the radio that interviewed some of the people involved in this project, it came out quite clearly that this is supported and encouraged by the health authorities. So, yes we have the researchers in Bergen that were the first to suggest PDH problems, but also we have health...

    Ketogenic diet

Spamming the thread again, sorry. But now I’ve read the thread on the other forum, and checked further, and I will not risk my long term health by not taking care of the gut flora, that means that I will eat more veggies, with fiber and food for the gut flora. This also means more carbs, up to...

    Ketogenic diet

@Arnie Pye I guess that depends on which way one hear of ketogenic diet. I wonder if the term is not very specific. I heard about it getting a tip to try the ketogenic diet that works on children with epilepsy, and described in this book, that I bought. In this ketogenic diet, one has to eat...

    Ketogenic diet

Seems that I need to be diary-free, to keep up the good improvement. (I was that for the first week(s) because I hadnt yet learnt the carbs of diary products) Also I have tried milkfree diet before, with no difference, even at reintroducing after three months. So kind of surprising. I wouldn’t...

    Ketogenic diet

@leokitten I understand what you say. That is good cautions. However in my case I feel that the me/cfs is worse than all the fat, at least for now. I was on a downward spiraling with high and augmenting blood pressure, now at least the BP is stable. And also the heart palpitations are improving...

    Ketogenic diet

That’s in fact good news to me. However I am reluctant to mess with MCT oil without measuring GKI, and I am reluctant to buy that because the strips are quite expensive. Another way to improve ketosis is to do intermediate fasting, however I don’t feel good on it so that’s out, for me at the...

    Ketogenic diet

This. I also finds it very difficult to adhere to a proper ketogenic diet with all this fat, and limited proteins. In fact, too difficult. However, there’s seems to be some more possibilities, for example the modified Atkins diet, which do not restrict proteins and calories the same way. But...

    Ketogenic diet

One could be as lucky as I was, noticing difference already the second day, and without the fasting. I have struggled a lot with constipation though. But I’ve gone from severe to moderate/mild. Only weeks into it. I got a tip with this article https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26315446
