@James Morris-Lent, you might try telling that to Jamison Hill and Whitney Dafoe.
Also not sure where you're getting the info that one of 'the distinguishing features is that nothing is actually damaged'. Could you provide a link for that rather odd claim?
Thanks in advance.
There is a reason why they're usually only prescribed for only a short period. I haven't searched here, but on 'the other forum', I remember there were plenty of horror stories if one fell for 'The Safe Uses of Hydrocortisone' approach...
Eric Gordon is an M.D., not a 'practising homeopath'. He may use homeopathic remedies from time to time, but I highly doubt that's his first mode of treatment. In fact, the main point he made about Jamison's case was that may be a result of the horrific car crash he was in, and suggested they...
If I remember correctly @Esther12, I think you said you hadn't even watched the documentary? If so, then you didn't see Gordon's caring manner and assessment of Jamison.
Just because Gordon may offer some things that may seem or even be as you say, 'dodgy', doesn't mean he's using any of those...
I'd say exactly the opposite. It shows he was part of groundbreaking research that may just change the way we address the problem(s) we face with ME/CFS.
I hope that someone with a Reddit account will take the time to reply to this idiot. All they need to do is post a link to an article about Whitney Dafoe, and ask him if he thinks Whitney's faking it for secondary gains.
I've never personally heard of that as a 'hallmark' symptom. From what you're describing, it doesn't sound like the same thing that as you suggested above, also happens with Parkinson's. IMO, that's more of a 'freezing' thing, where the patient seems 'stuck', and has difficulty initiating...
Bloom's been around for ages. I guess the reason he may have been noticed now is due to the Rogan interview.
Here's a series of interviews he did 5-6 years ago:

He's credible in some ways and not in others. Definitely a...
I agree. It's not a 'yes' or 'no' question. If the poll had a fourth choice, "Do environmental factors play a role in some cases?", I would answer yes.
I haven't read anything about this drug or the trial, but FWIW, it's my understanding that many can start out with high cortisol, which eventually can lead to low levels. And/or some have high levels at times of the day when they should be lower (like at night), and low at the other times, when...
Same here, sinusitis -- off and on, but mostly on -- for about 20 years. I did find this intriguing study/overview the other day that suggests that antibiotics, even if they might help acutely in some situations, may, in the long run be just making things worse. And of course it could be...
As mentioned earlier in this thread, I've heard that e. coli is, but lactobacillus is not, as it produces too much d-lactate. I'll try to locate references from Lassesen and post them in a day or two.
And of course I'm not a scientist so I can't say if the studies he bases his hypothesis on are...
