I'd be interested to know if/how Prusty's research might fit with @Manuel 's work (thread here: https://www.s4me.info/threads/cd4-cytotoxic-t-cells-involved-in-the-development-of-ebv-associated-diseases-2022-ruiz-pablos.28782/#post-430450)
Hmmm, I sent mine three weeks ago and still haven't heard if they've recieved it. I think I'll email them about it.
Edit - Sorry just read Andy's email above, I'll give them another week then email!
Being separated from cake is never a good thing.
I've actually tried moxibustion, a friend who is an acupuncturist gave me some. It made my whole house smell of weed.
I read the guardian article about this y'day. Very interesting. https://www.theguardian.com/society/2022/oct/19/gene-black-death-survivors-linked-autoimmune-disease
Education is notorious for buying into fads like this. Growth Mindset was huge, every classroom had to have a display and children and teachers were coached in the right growth mindset language to use. Good teachers have always encouraged growth mindset, they just didn't call it that.

I'm surprised. I remember talking to a friend, who was doing his phd in psychology at Cambridge Uni, about Lacan (I studied Lacan in quite a lot of depth as part of my English Lit studies), he said that Lacan had no place in modern psychology and hadn't done for years. I thought psychology had...
She did this youtube interview about it a while ago...
There's a thread on it here: https://www.s4me.info/threads/fatigue-and-the-mind-body-relation-a-lacanian-exploration-diserholt-2020-phd-thesis.18073/#post-306595
I've just written to my doctor to ask if I can get the autumn booster. He added me to group 6 for the initial vaccine so hoping I'll be able to get this one too.
I've never had the flu vaccine.
Has anyone received their spit kit yet? I'm wondering when they are being sent out. Also, wondering if they fit through the letterbox or if you need to be in to receive it?
:emoji_clap: well done DecodeME team!
Also, just to note in case it's helpful for anyone:
- I had previously locked myself out of my account by pressing the 'back' button on my browser (I know they specifically said not too, my concentration lapsed!) I took Andy's advice and emailed the team...
Don't worry @V.R.T. I didn't doubt that. I was reflecting on some comments on twitter/facebook in my post above. To be honest, I'm not sure my post was particularly constructive anyway, brain very slow today! :)
I've noticed this on social media as well. I understand the disappointment. We all want to feel like our experience could count for something and lead to something positive. I'm sure I will have some feelings of disappointment if I am not asked to spit (if I eventually manage to get my survey...
Thank you for your help @Kitty but unfortunately I tried it and it didn't work.
You got to me in time @Andy ! Thank you. I will do that. I didn't want to waste people's time so I thought signing up with another email address might be easier so thank you for letting me know.
arg, I've had my survey ready to send off. Logged in to check it and accidentally, stupidly, pressed the back button on my browser :( Oh dear. Do not do this! I now can't get back into my account. All I can think to do is re-register with a different email address and do the whole thing again. Oops.
