The relationship between cannabis and cardiovascular disease: clearing the haze 2025 Chandy et al

Well, I've used cannabis for more than 50 years and have never had a heart problem! It aids sleep, boosts appetite, and reduces pain. I don't use tobacco, which causes a lot of problems, including cancer (which killed my mother).

Er, what's PPI? A quick search gives 'payment protection insurance' or 'Proton pump inhibitors'!

What do we mean by a diagnosis like ME/CFS?

I realise that it may not be connected, but it didn't appear until I had ME/CFS, ditto the swellings behind my knees.

Dr Ron Davis - Updates on ME/CFS research - September 2019 onwards

Whitney has put on weight! I regret that I won't be donating anything to Ron's research as it uses animals. This is not only cruel but almost always gives misleading results. I also find the message puzzling as it refers to bacteria as animals!

Ideas for a Declaration to raise standards in evidence-based medicine

Is it worth getting an air purifier for my constant rhinitis?

Well, as someone who can't hoover properly nowadays, and who gets a neighbour in to do it (paid) I thought that it was time to get a robot cleaner. I've bought a Beko Robot Cleaner VRR60314VW, which is well regarded here...

UK: Royal Devon University Healthcare Trust: Planned and unplanned admission process for severe or very severe adult ME patients - clinical guidance

I thought that it was fairly good, apart from a few small errors, e.g. "4.7.2...The Community-based ME/CSF Service" I wonder whether Plymouth (Derriford Hospital) has anything similar - it's where I have been sent a few times, and where apart from one nurse no one seemed to be familiar with...
