I've just checked the event info and it is targeted at clinicians. Not sure if you had to say when registering.
There were apparently about 280 people registered so if that's really impressive it is only clinicians
I stepped in for Nikki as she had a family emergency. It seemed like a really positive event - the hosts are both medics who have long covid (they are on social media) and the RCP in Edinburgh said they hadn't seen as much engagement on slido (where people were asking questions during the...
I believe that the greatest gain from protective health benefits of exercise (in the general population) are when sedentary people start to do something. As you correctly point out exercise research is focused on healthy people and looks at it with a deconditioning focus. We have spent so much...
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35079817/ I have used this reference to describe potential links between Long Covid and ME and suspect it may be where some of the 50% figure comes from. It is a relatively small study and from 2021 so there may be something more up to date but I have found it...

It is taking a lot of self control not to comment on this thread of nonsense on twitter - mainly as I don't think I can say what I want to say whilst remaining professional.
Thanks for all the comments on this. I have to confess that I (Michelle) know very little about it but will share all this info with Nikki and Karen who are leading on this.
