Steinkopf finds a lot of interesting information and I feel like I learn a lot from her blogs, but I also think that she can go too far sometimes or be insufficiently clear with her provisos. Possibly some of that's because of google's translations though.
Hopefully things get better for her soon.
On a purely political note, there's some indication of a relatively high rate of natural recovery for teenagers, so possibly a chance of recovery coinciding with some random treatment being tried, and this potentially influencing Javid's views.

From what I've seen, complaints are rarely seen by those in UK medicine as a reason for serious investigation and self-reflection. There also seems to be a lack of alternative ways of encouraging serious investigation and self-reflection.
