In the past the patient's community was able to crowdfund for OMF (Davis research), Lipkins research several millions. Maybe it's worth to try it also for your research. Also if you can show to MRC/NIHR a certain amount of money from patients maybe they will be more forced/motivated to give the rest

Great to hear that money are comming. I think with The Pineapple Fund donation, OMF, NIH and many donors - Stanford research team will not be far away form the budget 10 mil. USD a year. I think this can really move the research on Stanford. It would be great to have such a team with that budget...

Is there a time frame when we can start to see the first results? It seems everythig pretty good but it goes terribly slowly. Will they release some part results?
