Just to add, my son had brittle asthma. I couldn't remember the name but found it online. He had it from 6 months for the best part of 2 decades but improved slowly in his teens. People who don't know about it might be interested to look it up. It's a severe form of asthma and a more serious...
Yes, I understand what you are saying and yes it's usually true. However there's a minority of children for whom the treatments just aren't effective enough. My child was one of those so I can't fully agree with you on this point.
I agree that asthma families don't face the risk or (for some)...
Expenses for overnight stays close to the venue (if a physical venue) before and after.
(Semi-serious - All participants to lie/recline/sit on loungers, beds or reclining chairs regardless of (dis)ability or status during the meeting.)
I'd be interested in a follow-up on the participants of the pilot study beyond it's 5 weeks but oh there isn't one. It shouldn't have been too difficult to do.
I think just online shopping for a swimming costume is enough to put me off. I'll be thinking of you all while you're off on your Sunshine Coast hols, relaxing pool-side with your low-carb mocktails.
MEAction aren't the boss of anyone and I don't think they're trying to be either.
As I see it each individual is going to make their own decision about any response, whether to join MEAction in this stance. People always do. However, I think the MEAction thingy is a useful contribution which...
@ladycatlover - I've had arguments around similar issues with my husband - mirrors too high, coat hooks too high, 'standard' (yes there is such a thing) wall cupboard positioning too high etc. He's been married to me for nearly 30 years he should be used to how tall I am by now!
@Trish I realise I made a poor post - I do know that the microbiota aren't 'in' the body, not being inside the cells but coating the surfaces of areas as you mention. I think perhaps I thought my question was rhetorical (?) but that's not clear even to me! I was posting whn my brain was...
I get right sided weakness with a numb achey pain (feels a lot like a local anaesthetic (eg dental) as it wears off) I began a few months after ME onset in my face and scalp. I also experience it in my arm and leg, which can affect my gait if I'm walking too much. My foot has a tendency turn in...
I would try not to worry because worrying won't do any good. Why shouldn't therapists encourage participants to fill in the survey, I would if I was them.
Same problem - subjective questionnaire. There will still be harm reported.
I have amitriptyline on hand to help with sleep and pain. I use it a few times a month, and not more than twice in a row. I use it to 'catch up' on my sleep when the insommnia is really getting to me, and for when the pain is worse than usual. I take 5mg which knocks me out for about 12 hours...
I agree. The government have failed to recruit the additional numbers of GPs they promised to (can't remember where I read that) and are keeping very quiet about it while attempting to make it look like they are doing Great Things for the NHS.
From the same place they were going to be finding all the extra GPs and nurses that they promised...
Funny how there's no magic money tree but there is apparently a magic tree for doctors and other healthworkers.
