Guardian: Long Covid is very far from ‘all in the mind’ – but psychology can still help us treat it - by Carmine M Pariante, April 2021

This would be an excellent posted retort in my opinion. All though I don't even think there is any evidence of psychological therapies ever leading to some measurable changes(yet)?

Persistent Suffering:The Serious Consequences of Sexual Violence against Women and Girls, Their Search for Inner Healing.., 2021, Sigurdardottir et al

So if we cure the body the mind and soul will follow? Or is that not what they are proposing? *edit*: I don't mean to make light of something that can ultimately have devastating consequences for someone's whole wellbeing so my comment is in poor taste I guess. But the body-mind duality or now...

The virus reactivation I'm skeptical of, but the first publish then discuss approach seems to me to be the right one.

The biology of coronavirus COVID-19 - including research and treatments

I haven't read the article, but there was an article in De Volkskrant about a Dutch breath-test that could tell about 75% of people with symptoms immediately that they didn't have covid. The others would still have to be tested. Apparently a Finnish firm is working on the same.

The biology of coronavirus COVID-19 - including research and treatments

I'm speaking as a novice here(I mostly do :D ) . But weren't some phase 3-trials in their finishing stages these months and shouldn't results come out for a few of them? Obviously Russia is number one, but are any serious studies underway too?

Trial By Error: CBT and Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Gotta agree with Trish here, I know you are doing pretty well unicorn and I can say my symptoms have definitely improved as well(from near death to at least feeling well for most of the day, though very inactive). But my IBS has far from gone away yet.

    Anti-inflammatory drugs and COVID

My father has a regular flu and was hospitalized last weekend partly because he barely drank anything. I wouldn't recommend it. Uncle had the same last year, hospitalized because of dehydration while being sick.

    Doctors talk about Covid-19

Well, they aren't coming to the ICU for nothing. I've stopped reading messages like this, while adhering to social distancing/self isolation. The thing with reading about ICU is, the worst cases end up there. So it's always gonna paint a pretty grim picture.
