The new NICE guidelines - do they affect benefits at all?

But you have to actually request the copy of the report, usually a couple of days after the assessment. Unfortunately, I didn't find out about that bit in time, or I might have managed to get some of the inaccuracies corrected before it was too late.

The new NICE guidelines - do they affect benefits at all?

Just wondering whether the new NICE ME/CFS guidelines can be beneficial at all in relation to all the various UK benefit applications? Haven't really thought this through yet.

    Covid-19 vaccination experiences

I'm sorry you've had all this to deal with, Binkie4. Don't forget to report any adverse reactions to the vaccines on the yellow card or whatever format it is in your country, everyone.

Publication of the NICE ME/CFS guideline after the pause (comment starting from the announcement of 20 October 2021)

This is precisely why it's important that we record full quotes in these threads, rather than just post a link. It's all too easy for something to be changed online :(

Publication of the NICE ME/CFS guideline after the pause (comment starting from the announcement of 20 October 2021)

My poor tired brain for some reason missed out on the "cou" there - I was looking at the rest of your post and wondering just what was so offensive about it :)

United Kingdom: ME Association governance issues

Hmm, Prof. Findley was the person who gave my caree a diagnosis of ME, for which I guess we'll always be grateful. But that was only on a "day-trip" appointment, and we didn't have anything further to do with him after that, I can't remember if there was any particular reason why. As I don't...
