    PENE crash and muscle pain

Interesting. I’m similar with sound sensitivity currently, but I’ve also got PEM. I have the awful coat hanger pain and very painful hips.

Video clip of a Australasian conference on MUS, mentions ME.

Exactly. He is entirely wrong in his theories about me, too! I was affected by food poisoning and/or virus I was bed bound a few days, then weak and exhausted (housebound) - I recovered and resumed work and life. I was affected by Krypto Sporidium in the water supply - guess what? I pushed...

Good grief! Sounds like he’s of the magical thinking LP ilk. I find it disturbing and disappointing. He has a fair few assumptions going on there!

Is anyone else badly affected by pollen?

I’m bad with tree pollen. Not noticed animal hair. Yes, high pollen always worsens ME. I have had mild skin reactions in the past. I can’t tolerate antihistamines very well. Yes, the weather has been really strange.

Is anyone else badly affected by pollen?

Hi @Sarah94 Yeah, I’ve tried Prevalin - it’s helpful to a certain point. We don’t dry clothes outside, windows kept closed when pollen rises and falls. We have two air purifiers too, they are helpful. I can’t have anti inflammatory medication too often as it irritates my stomach and I have...

Is anyone else badly affected by pollen?

Is anyone else badly affected by pollen? My energy issues and fatigue and migraines are all exacerbated by pollen. Really bad. I can’t use antihistamines. Nasal steroid spray wrecks my nasal tissue. All I can do is use saline nasal spray and Vaseline as a barrier on my nose.

Do all ME / CFS sufferers have low stamina?

I find this very interesting. Clearly showing it’s not deconditioning.

Do all ME / CFS sufferers have low stamina?

Yes. I get the burning pain too and need to rest till it eases. Arms and legs get it.

Do all ME / CFS sufferers have low stamina?

I suffer from reduced stamina. It’s like there’s nothing in the tank .. low energy and very little by way of stamina .. both physically and mentally. Each morning I have a feeling of dread as I wonder how the hell I’ll get through the day. Yes, rapid muscle fatiguability - I often need to sit...

ME charities' response to the Reuters article

Agreed. It has been emotionally draining, upsetting and hurtful. Some excellent responses from patients but complete silence from charities, except a little piece from Action for ME. Unbelievable. Absolutely unbelievable.

ME charities' response to the Reuters article

I’d have expected some presence & support from our charities. I’ve been really affected by this weeks attacks in the media. I feel that patients have been abandoned and left to defend themselves with what little strength they have. I don’t want my friends, family, GP or whoever reading and...

Do you get post-exertional malaise from being outdoors?

That’s very interesting! I have great difficulty being outside. I have Angina too so that is part of it, but I get spaced out, derealization, dizziness and nausea if I’m walking outside. It happens fast, I can’t go out on my own.
