The section that mentions ME is the second half of a paragraph, and doesn't say much. The full quote is:
"Another example relates to the activism of chronic fatigue syndrome (myalgic encephalomyelitis or encephalopathy) campaigners, whose fury at being ignored for so long by the medical...

They did at least admit that the delay was caused by the protestations of clinicians about removing GET. IF only they could get their heads round the risks of it if (as is the case) they can't work out in advance of treatment who it helps and who it harms.
From the little I read of the paper (very little - I don't have the brain cells to make sense of it), it certainly seems quite a leap to draw the conclusions the twitter poster you quoted said @Trish
No comments on it, but top of page 6 in the indented paragraph:
"Although no significant changes were noted in methionine levels, increases in acetyl-methionine and hydroxyproline, by-products of proteolysis and collagen catabolism, respectively, were observed, particularly in patients with...
I'd love to believe that to be true, but, two of the references on the Wikipedia page about gaslighting are these:
It may not have been in widespread use on social media, but I certainly remember the term being used between 2006 and 2010 by several of my acquaintances, and I don't think they...
I'm not sure if it's just me, but, in the current guidelines, on the interactive flow chart, I can't actually access the sections on CBT and GET. They're there and clickable, but it goes back to an index page of management. If it's not just me, I don't know if anything should be read by this.
I'm inclined to think that the 'trauma' that doctors speak of here is not so much childhood trauma, so much as the trauma of being psychologised and misdiagnosed by doctor's such as this. :banghead:
Another, I believe simpler, way, is, on Twitter, to first click on the image so it appears as a pop-up, and then right click on the image and select 'open image in new tab'. In my browser this opens it with a magnifying glass available to click and enlarge it to a readable size.

It got better further down than I suspect you looked. I was scan reading and came across this bit

But, surely they were there and being paid whilst patients were being taken there? Could not that same system be used to continue caring for patients there, since they spent all that money setting them up?
This idea occurred to me, also. I was amazed that they put the Nightingale Hospital in London on pause, rather than using it to move infected patients out of the other hospitals. It just makes sense to isolate them properly. Plus, it could then open up the NHS to at least some of its normal...
I didn't feel the time was right when I emailed to complain about Tesco - they had by then released a statement. It was just the message hadn't got through to their call handlers.
As a final update on my initial post: I checked my Tesco account online, and do now have access to priority slots...
Just to update: I just received a call from a lady in the office of Tesco's CEO. She confirmed I was sufficiently vulnerable (from the little I'd put in the email), so would be on their priority list from tomorrow. She also asked which phone number I'd called the helpline earlier from, so she...

It would seem, following legal action by a group of disabled people, that Tesco are opening up their priority list to people 'experiencing similar problems'.
I tried phoning the number on their website, about three hours after the BBC reported on...
