We've just put up the third Severe ME/CFS video: Hospital Admissions, Issues and alternatives for severely ill ME/CFS patients. https://www.dialogues-mecfs.co.uk/films/severeme/ Although I made a twitter account for the project it was suspended before I tried to use it and although I have asked...
Oh No!!!! not a fourth time! What about Willy Weir as an Infectious disease consultant with expertise in ME. There's no point in emailing him though - would need a phone call.
They just mention the first one by name, but their link takes you to the Dialogues page where two are currently and all three will be, in a week or two... and it might encourage people to watch some of the other videos too.
Our video “Severe and Very Severe ME/CFS” is included as the 'Summary Video' in “Healthcare”s New proposed Special Issue: "ME/CFS – the Severely and Very Severely Affected”.
Guest editors for this 'Special Issue' - Prof Kenneth Friedman, Dr Lucinda Bateman and Prof Kenny De Meirleir...
Second new video - "Symptoms and Management of Very Severe ME/CFS" Josh and I have just put this up on the same web-page for "Severe and Very Severe ME/CFS" videos. http://www.dialogues-mecfs.co.uk/films/severeme/
Some of the videos are being incorporated into medical education material
Some of the Dialogues videos will be used by others working on online medical education...
Thanks Michiel, and for sharing the website link. I've put a link on the Voices from the Shadows facebook page too. Fortunately we can change the videos if necessary in the future and we can put extra resources and qualifying info in the back up material on the website. I shall be glad to get on...
I've just put this on the Dialogues thread, but since the video was mentioned here yesterday, here it is....

www.dialogues-mecfs.co.uk Following the first screening of 'Understanding Post-exertional Malaise in ME/CFS' yesterday at the CMRC conference in Bristol, the new 'Dialogues for a Neglected Illness' project website is now live. The project now includes the last video finished, 'An Introduction to...
Thanks. I'm delighted to hear that response from researchers. Josh has just put up a new website with the five finished videos on it - tow GET ones, two PEM ones - long and short and an Introduction to ME/CFS. There are a few glitches at the moment - a bit of a rush yesterday to get all the...
Thanks Michiel. I'll try that. I contacted Margaret Williams who had a large collection of old newspapers etc, but they had gone in the bin the day before!!!
More help needed please. Does anyone have any old photos or copies of old newspaper articles promoting research into CBT and GET as treatments? I need a image or two to put into the Introduction to ME/CFS video.
@Graham Thank you very much for all this and offering to help. I think I can keep it very simple and us the AfME one, as basically I need it for editing purposes, rather than necessary information.
Brilliant. @strategist and @Graham The one comparing ME/CFS to other neurological conditions would be fine - or even just part of it. I just need something to accompany Jo saying Funding for research has been inadequate and Eliana saying most of it has been for biopsychosocial research - it...
Thanks. I did speak to Russel and Charles about this but the PWME have offered their photos specifically for MEA use. Russel offered to post for requests for photos for Dialogues and I may take him up on that... not sure yet.
The PEM videos will be ready to go up online soon and I am working on the 'Introduction to ME/CFS' which has been a long time in the making. I would be really glad of having more photos to use in the editing. It contains a fair amount of Jo Edwards, and Luis, as well as many others - Eliana &...
