    News from Scandinavia

Agree. Too bad after all good publicity lately. I checked with some people, and to them like to me it was evident that this newspaper just wanted another angle as they were late on the scene. I let the journalist know our opinions and that we clearly could see her hunt for klicks at the expense...

Thanks @Kalliope . Actually, the full section is available here at 23:00 - 32:40. Unfortunally, due to sending rights during the Olympic Games, it is only possibly to watch in Sweden. I think this section contains exactly what we all want to inform about ME and the situation for PWME. The...

Do you know if the Ubiome test is using the same analyze technique as is used in the analyze of the MSA test from R.E.D. labs that KDM requests? Presented in this study. I couldn´t find out what Ubiome is using from their homepage.

Mount Sinai Medical Center NY (and Dr Derek Enlander)

I was one of those who were excited at that time as Eric Schadt was conducting a study about a possible genetic cause of ME. Nielk, member on PR as well as another member, wrote about their participating in the study. It would be interesting to get that study commented as well. OMG. Do I dare...

    Hydrocortisone - good or bad?

@Amw66, I´ve been through all stages of cortisol levels from almost any (serum cortisol 6 (200-800)) to unmeasurably high. I would contact your daughter´s doctor and tell about her new symptoms that aren´t common while on cortisone treatment. Low hormone levels are common among PWME and some...

OMF/Ron Davis Research Update December 2017

Agree, but it could be caused by low cortisol, that also is common, so I think blood sugar should be tested together with a saliva cortisol test ( more reliable than serum cortisol).

    I've gone nocturnal again :(

Hi Arnie Pye, Sorry to hear about your struggles with sleep. I came across this video yesterday and thought it describes many PWME´s situation, including mine, quite well. The disturbance of cortisol release seems to be the cause of how our sleep pattern ends up. There is no simple solution but...

And tomorrow the Minister of Health will be interviewed on the same channel, TV4, in the morning. As we will have an election in September, I think the authorities have to handle ME/CFS seriously from now on.
