    Anti-convulsants - Pregabalin and Gabapentin

Interesting. I didn´t see that. I find all those high and low numbers confusing as we don´t know if the substance is just floating around in blood because of some abnormal conversion or uptake that is happening in PWME. Tissue saturation is seldom possible to meassure. Just a thought. My doctor...

    Anti-convulsants - Pregabalin and Gabapentin

I just read up upon choline on Wikipedia and it was stated that Quote: "Methionine and folate are known to interact with choline while homocysteine is undergoing methylation to produce methionine. Recent studies have shown that choline deficiency may have adverse effects, even when sufficient...

    Anti-convulsants - Pregabalin and Gabapentin

Choline supplementation to help healing the nerve if it got injuried? And other vit B´s if you don´t already take them. Edit: I guess my suggestions shouldn´t be called "alternative". I guess I´m too affected by mainstream medicine mostly with too little knowledge about vitamins and their effects.

    News from Scandinavia

Yes, excellent article. There was also information about a new advisory board, created by the Minister of social Affairs, for patient organizations to have direct communication with the government and where meetings will take place regularly. :thumbup...

Denmark - Manifest to health authorities from 85 ME-patients

Yes, why don´t they get their inspiration from Fluge, Mella and why not from Swedes like Gottfries, Blomberg and Blomqvist? Why have functional disorders as a model ? That reveals their lack of knowledge.

Ideas For Marketing ME More Effectively...

No, the Rituximab trial in Norway didn´t get any attention in media in Sweden. Yes, a biomarker, that also includes an explanation to the mechanisms behind ME will surely cause THE change. What caused the breakthrough regarding acceptance of ME here, was a good combination of the factors I...

Ideas For Marketing ME More Effectively...

In Sweden we had a breakthrough regarding more knowledge about the disease to people in common, and acceptance for ME as a really serious disease, since December last year. All media; TV, radio and newspapers are now covering ME from different angles. I think every week we get news and...

    News from Scandinavia

On Swedish radio, channel 1, there was an interview this morning with a female police with ME about her economic situation. A lawyer commented on the demands of proof when not being able to work. https://sverigesradio.se/sida/avsnitt/1073363?programid=1650 1:18 - 1:30

    Esther Crawley's contribution to #MEawarenessweek

I guess someone with a Twitter account can contact the person with the signature motherofalien@agirlandme. Maybe the mother, and other poor parents in that group, would like to tell the world more about their experiences from those unscientific experiments with young people. @dave30th

    Esther Crawley's contribution to #MEawarenessweek

A sad, but very important witness. Please retweet if you are om twitter. "I'm in an online group of almost 1000 parents of kids with ME. Many of these kids attend(ed) Esther Crawley's clinics/trials. None have recovered in 6 months. As far as I'm aware none have recovered. Statistics don't seem...

    1st ME/CFS Canadian Collaborative Conference

Thanks @Alvin. Agree. Do you know if his claim is confirmed by a study, or was it just from his experience that he "knew" this as a fact. I got the impression that he told that PWME had more of genetic problems with detoxification than healthy people. I never heard before that this had been...

    News from Scandinavia

@mango , I heard it on the news today and it is terrible if a medical journal doesn´t look up the writers before publishing. No blame on Karolinska this time, as far as I can see. I have heard of several cases ( young girls sadly) who contracted ME after the HPV-vaccination, so to me it...

    Anti-convulsants - Pregabalin and Gabapentin

I think you should. That is a serious side effect from a test. Maybe they know that the symptom will go away by the time, but they should at least communicate with you. Could you write to the head of the clinic, preferably an e-mail so you have it as a proof?

Did you ask at the clinic what they believe ? They must have met with this problem after that test before.

Swedish Government: More knowledge is needed to better support people with CFS

I agree with the applauds to Sten. I´m sure he is reading this. You are doing a really great job! Actually, that comment can´t let me down. There is a group of unknowledgeable people, whatever agenda they have, and they will surely continue until, and even after, ME/CFS has been confirmed...

Seminar in Sweden May 8th - Chronic fatigue and ME/CFS - what are the differences?

So many humble doctors who want to learn to be able to help :thumbup::thumbup: :balloons: is nothing but a breakthrough since the first article in a big newspaper in December. All small and big efforts finally had an effect. And on Saturday hopefully many PWME will have the opportunity...
