My returned kit seems to be stuck somewhere in the US, and uBiome doesn't reply to my question.
I thought about taking their offer right now, but it seems the stuff won't return. But then...no. sad :(
If you have a "mental illness" diagnosis, it can happen easily that your legal competence is removed (even if it violates UN human rights convention - no discrimination of disabled or sick people). According to law, this is not possible if you have a physical illness (without "mental issues")...
But maybe NICE isn't the "neutral observer" (or committee members), but also has its beliefs/agenda.
For instance, using your metaphor, Adventists believe the world was created in 6 days, and another Christian group (e.g. Charismatics) believe it was made by God, but not in 6 days, but in 6000...
In my case it's three things:
1) The muscles are weaker from the beginning compared to pre-illness; they burn nearly istantly and then weaken faster than I knew it from training. No short-time recovery (e.g. as in HIT).
2) More and longer muscle ache after "too much" training, and muscle ache...
When psychologists appeared on the stage (somewhere late 18th, 19th century maybe?), they talked about the "lunatics", "mentally ills". They realized some time later that this wasn't very liked - there were some rich "lunatics" - and they changed it to "psychologically ill". People understood...
But we don't observe this with ME, and there are enough reasons to uprise; and wrt. doctors it would even be doable.
People tend to believe what they're told over and over again. If they are told "it's you, you just need to want", again and again - and that's happening - probability is high it...
The same holds for Germany. It seems to be standard nowadays to not care about contracts. Because who will fight it? There is one humanitary scandal after the other, no government cares.
That's maybe the point. Saves a lot of money. One of the largest budgets is the one for health care. A better profit marge is wanted. In the EU, health care is part of services economy.
You need to add Germany to that list.
Well, seems we might get a new Church - the Church of the Holy BPS Doctrine. Or maybe it is already established and now it broadens its influence. To flourish every seed needs to fall on good soil.
Thanks for speaking out loud what I wouldn't dare to do publicly. I daresay it's true for "the others" as well.
Appalling and disgusting!! Unbelievable. Shame on you, Henrik Vogt! Where's the puking emoji?
@Leonard Jason
As I may be so bold as to give my humble opinion, I would say this new questionnaire much better summarizes what I personally experience.
I am always bold enough to adjust questionnaires to my experiences (or don't answer at all and ask), so I would choose delayed and immediate...
I found something interesting today. Don't know whether it can be helpful?
Original source is a comment by Sophie Schulz here http://www.badische-zeitung.de/gesundheit-ernaehrung/cfs-die-unbekannte-krankheit--45584603.html.
I searched the sources she mentions.
There is a letter from...
Dear @Joh, I wish you all the luck of this world! Oh gosh :(
As soon as you are willing you could write about your advocacy ideas.
I don't want to be a spoiler here...
It is a very important part that the German Association put their efforts in advocating for ME. But we shouldn't think that's...
Hi @Philipp, I guess I understand your idea with VdK/SoVD better...It's not so bad, I think. When would you say could be a good point of time of contacting them? Do you know someone there?
Let me collect what we have so far:
Probably contact VdK/SoVD. When and with what?
278 StGB is an...
That's something I can confirm. Of course, when training you overdo it on a regular basis. Afterwards, I felt exhausted but happy. It was a satisfying exhaustion. I didn't feel energy-less though, I felt alive. I had muscle achiness and did easy training after a hard unit with no problems at...
What I mislike in particular is if a doctor says "That can't be possible". Gosh! :cautious: It's one of my dearest hobbies to invent stories about symptoms. Hm...maybe I really could like it. :sneaky:
